Week 6: A Girl by Ninad Tungare

A Girl

I saw a girl, by the side of the road

Selling her ware, unaware of the world

She is worried about, two square meal(s)

How will she, ever be able to fulfill

Poor little girl, who has never been to school

Will she always remain to be a fool?

She has to read her books aloud

To make a difference in this world of cloud

How will she, stand with her chin up in this world

If she does not get proper education

She has to learn and learn and learn

Only then can pride be earn

If she educates to give a chance to her

She stands out in the world, cruel to her
